Where players place wards, minutes 14–25
With all groups pooled, each player placed 4.90 wards per 10 minutes of game time in minutes 14–25 (2.01 from yellow trinkets, 2.10 from support items, 0.29 from blue farsight trinkets, 0.50 control). The most common area was the river (45.9% of placements). 72.3% of these placements were inside a bush.

Colours are relative to the busiest areas on this page, and every map on it uses the same scale: the brightest colour marks the busiest few per cent of areas. An area's colour is its share of the panel's wards divided by its size, so small and large areas compare fairly. Hover over an area, or tap it, for its share of the panel's wards; each Faelight and each Scryer's Bloom spot is an area of its own. An area with none of the selection's wards gives no read-out, and no outline. Bushes are outlined: over a bush, or near one, the read-out gives the whole bush's wards first, then the area's own. Zoom a map with Ctrl + scroll (⌘ + scroll on a Mac), a pinch or a double click or tap, and drag to move a zoomed map; the buttons in its corner zoom in, out and back to the whole map.
Wards per 10 minutes
Wards placed, divided by the players' time in the game, times 600 seconds: wards per 10 minutes of game time. Time dead counts as game time. Each type is counted separately; All is their sum. The Stealth type is the yellow trinket and support item wards together, and Farsight wards come from the blue trinket. The ward type filter does not change this table. Each rate is shown with its 95% interval in brackets. A rate from few wards gets at least the width of the exact interval of its ward count, so a handful of wards is not shown as a precise rate.
Per 10 minutes of game time in minutes 14–25, every ward type. The range in brackets is a 95% interval.

Where the wards were placed
Where the wards of the chosen type were placed, by area. Areas are named from the side of the player who placed the ward, so Own jungle means the placer's own jungle. Each share is shown with its 95% interval in brackets. Shown when at least 30 wards were placed.
Share of the placements of the chosen type in each area, named from the placer's side. The rows add up to 100%.
Wards in bushes
The share of the wards of the chosen type that were placed inside a bush, shown with its 95% interval in brackets. A ward counts as inside a bush by the bushes as they are before the dragon rift changes the map; bushes the rift adds or removes later in a game are not counted yet. Shown when at least 30 wards were placed.
72.3% (72.3–72.3) of the placements of the chosen type were inside a bush (117,729,140 of 162,836,374)
Bushes with the most wards
For each bush, the share of the wards of the chosen type that were placed in it, with the area the bush lies in (its side and its part of the map; the Bushes page has the map). Each share is shown with its 95% interval in brackets. The figures use the bushes as they are before the dragon rift changes the map. Shown when at least 30 wards were placed.

Wards per player-game, by minute
Wards of the chosen type placed in each game minute, divided by the number of player-games still in game in that minute. Shown up to the last minute whose player-games still in game pass the same rule as a whole page.
Where wards get swept
The share of the wards of the chosen type that the enemy destroyed within 1:30 of their placement. Each ward counts for as long as it stood: one that ended earlier for another reason (its owner placed one more ward than the limit allows, or the game ended) counts until then and is not counted as swept. The share comes from the sweeps and the time the wards stood in seven parts of the first 1:30 (0-5 s, 5-15 s, then every 15 s), so the early seconds, when most sweeps happen, are measured on their own. 1:30 is the shortest time any ward stands before running out, so every ward type is compared over the same time. On the maps, each area counts the wards placed in it and shows from 50 of them; a bush counts its own wards, and shows from 30 of them with the median time its wards stood (a ward still standing at the end, or removed by the ward limit, counts as standing until then). The figures use the bushes as they are before the dragon rift changes the map. A ward with no recorded end although it should have run out before its game ended is left out. There is no interval: a share from 50 wards can be off by 10 points or more.

Each area shows the share of the wards placed in it that the enemy destroyed within 1:30 of their placement. Areas with fewer than 50 such wards are left blank. Hover over an area, or tap it, for its figures; each Faelight and each Scryer's Bloom spot is an area of its own. Over a bush (outlined), the figures are the whole bush's: its wards, the share swept and how long its wards stood (the median), from 30 wards.
Ward lifetimes
Time from placement to the ward's death, as the 25th percentile, median and 75th percentile. A ward has no death time when it was still standing at the end of the game or its death could not be matched to its placement; it counts as standing until the end of its game (a Kaplan–Meier estimate), so the longest-lived wards are not left out. Some of those wards died without a matched death instead, so the true lifetimes can be a little shorter than shown, by up to half for wards placed after 25:00, when about a third have no death time. Shown for a type when at least 30 of its wards have a death time; they have no interval, and a row marked small sample, with fewer than 100 wards with a death time, can be off by a factor of two or more.
Minutes:seconds from placement to death, for wards placed in minutes 14–25; a ward with no death time counts as standing to the end of its game. A row marked small sample can be off by a factor of two or more.

Notes on the ward data
- A ward counts as inside a bush by the bushes as they are before the dragon rift changes the map.
- A ward with no recorded end counts as standing until its game ends: that keeps the longest-lived wards in the lifetimes and in the swept share.
- A rate or a ward share from few wards can be off by more than it looks.
